Requirements differ by state and change over time. Some states publish their own forms, require notarization or require the seller to file a notice of sale. 5. Electronic signatures
E-signatures are generally valid under the federal ESIGN Act and state UETA laws, but some agencies require original ink signatures or notarization. Check before relying on an e-signed document.
